Deckorators Voyage 1×6 is a mineral-based composite deck board made for strong grip and steady performance. It uses Surestone technology, so it stays stable and strong. At the same time, it stays lighter than many standard composite boards, which helps speed up installs.
Lightweight size for faster installs
Voyage is 7/8 inch thick and 5.5 inches wide. Because it is about 35% lighter than traditional composites, crews can move it faster. In addition, the lighter weight can make cutting and handling easier on big jobs.
Vertical grain for better traction
Voyage uses a vertical grain surface. Because the texture adds grip, it helps reduce slips in wet areas. As a result, it works well for pool decks, docks, stairs, and walk paths. Also, the grain gives a clean, wood-floor look.
Performance in heat and moisture
Voyage helps resist sagging and splintering, even with heavy use. It also has low movement in changing temperatures, so boards stay more steady over time. Plus, the capped surface helps resist stains and fading. Because of that, the color stays more even year after year.

I started buying IPE from Brazilian Lumber over one year ago before the vendor opened the California location (i.e. where I am located). There were some issues related to the lumber (IPE), BUT the vendor made sure that all was taken care of and that I was happy. I mentioned “the issues” not to say that they product is bad, but rather to stressed out that the vendor provides superb service. No matter what you do, the problems may happen. Important is how such situations are handled. I was working with Luis, great guy to work with. I recommend this vendor.
