Overview

Premium Sustainable Decking with Long-Term Performance

Kebony Clear Kebony Decking Grooved 2S 2637 FSC® combines the natural beauty of real wood with advanced modification technology that improves durability and stability. Through Kebony’s proprietary wood modification process, sustainably sourced softwood is enhanced to perform like tropical hardwood while remaining environmentally responsible.

This process strengthens the wood structure, making it more resistant to moisture, wear, and biological decay. As a result, Kebony decking offers long service life with minimal maintenance, making it a popular choice for both residential and commercial outdoor spaces.

Designed for Hidden Fastening Systems

The grooved 2-sided (2S) profile allows installers to secure boards using hidden deck fasteners instead of face screws. This creates a smooth, uninterrupted deck surface that looks clean and modern. Hidden fastening systems also help protect the board surface from splitting or visible hardware, improving the overall finish of the deck.

Exceptional Durability for Outdoor Environments

Outdoor decking materials must withstand sun, rain, temperature changes, and heavy foot traffic. Kebony’s modification technology improves dimensional stability and durability, allowing the boards to perform reliably in harsh exterior conditions. The wood resists rot and decay while maintaining its structural integrity over time.

When first installed, Clear Kebony decking features a rich brown color that resembles high-end hardwood. With natural exposure to sunlight and weather, the boards gradually develop an elegant silver-gray patina. Homeowners who prefer to maintain the original color can apply exterior wood oil periodically.

FSC® Certified for Responsible Forestry

This decking product carries FSC® certification, meaning the wood comes from responsibly managed forests that prioritize environmental protection, biodiversity, and ethical forestry practices. Choosing FSC®-certified materials supports sustainable building and responsible resource management.

Ideal for Modern Deck Projects

Clear Kebony decking works well in a wide range of outdoor environments, including residential decks, rooftop terraces, boardwalks, and commercial outdoor spaces. Its combination of durability, sustainability, and natural beauty makes it an excellent alternative to tropical hardwood decking.

Had a great experience with the sales rep. He was very knowledgeable and honest. We ended up buying some thermally modified ayous panels for an outdoor media wall. So far so good. It looks great and hopefully will last for decades… Thank you!! Everyone has told us how much they really like the cladding used for our media wall and we appreciate your help with our project.

Best prices and quality I found after looking at a few different places for lumber for my deck project. Customer service was excellent and they helped me with my selections, staff was very knowledgeable! Highly recommend Beyond Lumber and they will be my go to place for future projects.

Roy and his team are hard to beat. These guys are great, I’m a deck builder myself and their customer services is on point. Thanks for all your help team!

We had an excellent experience with Beyond Lumber. Their team was knowledgeable, professional, and guided us through every step of choosing the right materials. The quality of the IPE and other hardwoods was outstanding—everything arrived on time and exactly as promised. Beyond Lumber truly cares about customer service and delivers top-notch products. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for premium decking and outdoor materials

I started buying IPE from Brazilian Lumber over one year ago before the vendor opened the California location (i.e. where I am located). There were some issues related to the lumber (IPE), BUT the vendor made sure that all was taken care of and that I was happy. I mentioned “the issues” not to say that they product is bad, but rather to stressed out that the vendor provides superb service. No matter what you do, the problems may happen. Important is how such situations are handled. I was working with Luis, great guy to work with. I recommend this vendor.

I upgraded my backyard with Ipe deck tiles for my patio. It was definitely an investment, but it’s turned out to be worth every penny. The tiles were easy to install and the finished product is not only beautiful, but also incredibly durable and functional. I would highly recommend Ipe deck tiles to anyone looking to create a beautiful and long-lasting outdoor space.
